The Blue Lime

Address: 42, Street 19z, Phnom Penh ,Cambodia

Address: 42, Street 19z, Phnom Penh ,Cambodia

The restaurant serves food that can be taken on the terrace or day-beds around the pool.
Cocktails can be served directly in the pool.
Breakfast is served from 7am around the pool.
The 14m-pool has an overflow and salted filtration systems. Big blocks on the side allow to put down drinks while swimming.

The garden is covered by a free 1Mb/s free wi-fi.
The infinity pool is perfectly cool, and the awning-covered, pillow-strewn mattresses around the pool provide the elements of a lovely afternoon reading or using the free WiFi. The only problem is that many of the expats in town agree, so the pool area can get really crowded on weekends. Rooms are sparse but tasteful, and the bathrooms large and luxurious. This is the only hotel we’ve seen that manages to make cement furniture seem aesthetically pleasing. Breakfast is included in the price.

The pool runs by overflow and is 5m x 15m and 1.30m deep.
Salt water (natural sea salt from Kampot) is used with a computerized chlorination system and 24 hours filtration

Bathrooms are a good size with stylish sinks and separate rain-shower areas. The hot water comes from solar panels, so there is a bit of waiting involved. The outdoor pool is surrounded by four-poster daybeds and tall, leafy tropical trees. Staff here is friendlier than at Pavillion, and extremely efficient and thoughtful. A room on the top floor offers lovely views of the curved rooftop of the National Museum in the distance. Blue Lime is already very popular among travelers in the know, so book far in advance.

Room Facilities: All rooms have:
– concrete furniture
– attached bathroom with solar heated water
– air-conditioning and fan
– free LAN internet access, 1.5MB/s (shared)
– mini fridge
– cable TV
– safety box
– hairdryer
