Ream Beach

Ream beach is located about 20 kilometers from Sihanoukville town. The virtues of making this long trek will become apparent when you spend a day in a place which is nothing short of a paradise.

Ream Beach is further away than other beach destinations (save some islands), but is not a difficult endeavor because the road is fairly straight and lacks any major turns or twists.

being in a national park, things are likely to remain this way for some time. Though Ream is not one of the more expansive beaches in the Sihanoukville area, it is nevertheless one of the most charming among all the beaches of Southern Cambodia.

The uniquity of Ream is apparent, as it is landscaped by mountains and waterfalls, making it a truly satisfying treat for the eyes. Another feature of Ream are the mangrove swamps, housing a wide array of local wildlife, including vocal tropical birds whose songs can be heard all around.

Being a quiet and secluded beach, Ream is ideal for relaxation. It's one of the few beaches where you can enjoy the day without being pestered by vendors. This serenity comes at a price, however, as there are not many places serving food and refreshments, so it's advisable to bring your own before embarking on your way.
